Premier Flight Training is owned and operated by Kevin Filby and Ian Anderson, both qualified pilots with single-engine to multi-engine ratings.
PFT is the only training facilty to have held prestigious Civil Aviation Authority approvals for flight training in Norfolk. Our Chief Flying Instructor has amassed 51 years of experience and 20,000 hours of commercial and instructional flight time.
PFT also benefits from a CAA 'in house' ground and flight examiner. We can train and examine for the Private Pilot's Licence, multi-engine class ratings, IMC, Night Qualification and even Multi-Engine and Single-Engine Instrument Rating revalidation and renewals. All of our flying instructors hold full commercial qualifications and have extensive flight experience.
PFT has a resident medical examiner located within the building. Dr Vincent Kielty is available for the following medical classifications: JAA Class 1 and 2, FAA 1st, 2nd and 3rd class, DVLA class 1 and 2.

Facilities
PFT is located at Norwich International Airport. We have fully equipped briefing rooms with the latest training aids. We can also offer ground school tuition throughout the year, to assist in obtaining all ground examinations.
Aircraft
We have a well equipped fleet of aircraft maintained to a public transport certificate of airworthiness. The fleet consists of two Cessna 152's a Piper PA28 Warrior II and a Robin 2160i aerobat.
Our Warrior II is equipped with the latest Garmin avionics including the GNS430 GPS moving map display and GTX330 mode S transponder. Our Robin 2160i is equipped with a full 5 point harness and modern avionics. Photographs of the fleet are available in the aircraft section of our site.
